It’s beginning to look (and feel) a lot like Christmas!
At Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur for their Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on December 2, the festive feeling was in the air with a a 20 feet tall Christmas tree, Snowman and Jack. Adding on to the Christmas feel was the hotel’s Polax Express theme and the sweet singing voices of students from Garden International School’s choir.
Officated by the Ambassador of Finland, Mr Matti Pullinen, together with the hotel’s General Manager, Mr Peter Gibbons, the hotel also launched their CSR programme for children “A Star for a Child” campaign. Participants can pick a star with a name of a child from the Christmas tree and gift a present for the chosen child. All presents will be delivered to the children at the General Hospital on December 23.
In keeping with the Malaysian spirit of indulging in delicacies every festive season the hotel’s Mill Cafe is hosting a Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and Christmas Day Buffet Lunch. Executive Chef Laurent Lherisson and his team starts off the buffet with a variety of salads, creamy soups, the must-have traditional turkey roast, roasted baby potatoes and whole roasted chicken with honey grilled pumpkin.
The lovely array of dishes at the Mill Cafe extends to some of the delicious Asian fare, including chicken and beef satay, Butter Prawns With Curry Leaves, an array of sushi and fresh oyster. Fans of sweet delicacies are spoilt for choice with pretty Chocolate Logs, fruit cake and Creme Brule, among many others.
